Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Dadès Gorges

We’ll depart early in the morning for the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah via the Tizi n’Tichka and the High Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival, we’ll visit the Kasbah and have lunch nearby. In the afternoon, we’ll head to Ouarzazate and stop at the Skoura Oasis and visit Kasbah Amridil. Then, we’ll drive by the Dadès Gorges, Kelaa Mgouna, Boumalne, and the Dadès Valley where we’ll stay overnight.

Day 2: Dadès Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast, we’ll head towards Tinghir and the Todra Gorges. We’ll take a walk in the Gorges and afterwards head to Erfoud, stopping at Tinjdad Palm Grove for lunch. We’ll also stop at Ksar Touroug and Erfoud to see exhibits of marble and fossils. Finally, we’ll head to the amazing dunes of Erg Chebbi to see the sunset and spend the night in stay overnight in our luxury camps.

Day 3: Camel trekking to desert camp and 4×4 tour

On day 3, we’ll enjoy a desert excursion in Merzouga with a local guide. We’ll visit Khamlia village and a Nomad museum in the village of Hassilabie. Finally, we’ll head back to our camp via camel. We’ll cross the desert dunes and enjoy the Saharan sunset. As always, we’ll enjoy Berber dinner and music by the campfire and sleep in the tents of our luxury camps.

Day 4: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

We’ll depart early in the morning to catch the desert sunrise. After breakfast, we’ll depart to the Tafilalet palm grove through Rissani. We’ll have lunch in Alnif, then see the Tazzarine Oasis, Nkob, and the Draa Valley. Finally, we’ll make our way to Ouarzazate, stopping at a small Berber village named Agdz and the mountains of the Anti-Atlas. We’ll stay overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, we’ll head to Marrakech where we will see the main sights and monuments in a guided tour. We’ll explore the medina, souks, and of course, Jemaa El-Fnaa, a vibrant hub of bric-a-brac stalls, musicians, storytellers, fortune-tellers and snake charmers that never seems to rest.  Then we’ll walk around Koutoubia Mosque, Marrakesh’s most famous landmark with its striking 70m tall minaret visible for miles in every direction. We’ll also visit Medersa Ben Youssef, the largest theological college in Morocco, and the Saadian Tombs, a 16th century burial ground home to 66 members of the Saadian dynasty, which ruled over Marrakesh between 1524 and 1668. We’ll have dinner and stay overnight.
